How you can analyze Forms in the Forms Analytics tools in HubSpot

Analytics tool in HubSpot, let you analyze and compare form's effectiveness. You can also analyze form submissions from each form in the forms tool.

Analyze Forms in the Forms Analytics tools

 

  • Go to Reports > Analytics Tools in your HubSpot account.
  • Click Forms.
  • Use the dropdown Date range and Frequency to filter the data to a specific time range.
  • Select the form types.

Performance

This section displays the below statistics:

  • Views: the total number of views of all the pages that the forms appear on.
  • Conversion rate: the total number of all-time submissions divided by the total number of all-time views for the forms.
  • Submissions: the total number of times the forms have been submitted across all the pages.

Chart

This section displays the below statistics:

  • From the upper right of the chart, select the type of chart from the dropdown you want to use.
  • From the upper left of the chart, select the reported metric from the dropdown Style.
    • Form Views: the total number of views of all the pages that the form appears on.
    • Submissions: the total number of times the forms have been submitted across all the pages.
    • Conversion rate: the total number of submissions divided by the total number of views for the form.

Table

Here, View the table for the analysis.

  • Customize the metrics that appear in the table by clicking Edit columns in the upper right. In the new box, select the checkbox for each metric that you want to display.
    • Form type: type of forms- non-HubSpot forms, pop-up forms, regular forms, and blog comment forms.
    • Form Views: total number of views of all the pages that the form appears on.
    • Submissions: total number of times the forms have been submitted across all your pages.
    • Conversion rate: total number of all-time submissions divided by the total number of all-time views for the form.
    • Last modified: last time the form was updated.
  • To remove the column section from the table, click the X next to the property.
  • Click Save. 
  • Use the Search bar to search for a specific form. 
  • Click a column header to sort the form by that metric. 
  • Select the checkbox next to a form name to include it in the chart. Multiple forms can also be selected to compare their impact in the chart. 
  • Click a form to analyze its performance in a new tab.
